In a world where there are only forests without countries as boundary, lives an ambitious little girl who never sleeps. To her knowledge, there are only trees and trees across the globe and then, there is her. She needs those trees to supply her with oxygen while her life's objective is to water them. Since day one of her existence, she has been warned not to sleep as according to the trees around her, "best to keep your eyes opened, or you can never open them again" and so, she believes them. No matter how far she wanders to, she has to come back to the trees because she thinks that she can only breathe the same air from in between birth and death - it is the only life she ever knows.
For the first time ever, river where she always exploits the aqua from to water the trees, gone dry. So she goes on a short exploration to save the only relationship she has. After 6 miles dragging a bucket of water, she now has the urge to take a rest without knowing what awaits her fatigue - a visit to her very own dreamland. Previously, no matter how tired she got, the trees would implore her to chew on their leaves. The leaves produce some kind of anti-sleeping potion essence. As the girl had no leaves in her possession, she then fell asleep soundly.
It is peculiar, but tranquillising at the same time. It does not feel foreign, it feels like she was born all over again and finally at "home". In her world of slumber, cloud is her carriage and she gets to traverse beyond the forest and discover what was once hidden from her - freedom. Conquering lands and oceans has sparked a form of realisation, that it is too good to be true and suddenly it begins to stimulate disquiet in her. She knows that she does not belong there. This dreamland that she is longing on living is not made for her. The trees were right, she would not be able to open her eyes and go back to reality if she chose to stay and let her mind live life that is so inviting. If she did not wake up, her resting body would be eaten alive by prey animals or rot to death. She receives a snap, and now awake from all the illusions that are not genuine. The moment she decides on embarking on this new voyage would mean the end of her life.
